Track and Field - Spring 2025

Season Information

• Parent & Athlete Meeting: Thursday, March 13, from 5:30-5:45 pm, VCG Gym, followed by practice until 7 pm
• Participants: Any homeschool student in 4^th – 8^th grade can attend practices and compete at meets. Homeschool students in high school may attend practices with approval from the athletic director. Please contact Heather Smith for approval, hrktrack@gmail.com. 
• Season Length: March 13 – May 22
• Practices: Mostly Mondays and Thursdays from 5:30 – 7 pm in Lake Villa or Gurnee
• Events Offered:
  • Running – 100 m, 200 m, 400 m, 800 m, 1600 m
  • Relays – 4x100 m, 4x200 m
  • Field – long jump, high jump, softball throw (4^th-6^th), shotput (7^th+)
• Meets: 4/12, 4/26, 5/3, and one TBD
• Uniform: must purchase a black HRK team t-shirt when registering if you don’t have one from a previous season + fully black shorts on your own
• Parent Participation: One parent from each family must volunteer at a minimum of one practice or one meet

Co-Ed Volleyball Club - Winter 2024

HRK Eagles is excited to offer our second year of Volleyball Club! This is a great opportunity to work on skills while having fun with friends. VB Club is geared to students in grades 5-12. This program is also open to non-homeschoolers. 

All ages will meet at Village Church of Gurnee. Grades 5-8 on Tuesdays from 3-5 PM and grades 9-14 on Thursdays, girls from 3-5, boys from 4:30-6:30 (starting 3/13). Club runs through 5/29.
