Thursday, March 13, from 5:30-5:45 pm, VCG Gym, followed by practice until 7 pm. 

Participants: 

Any homeschool student in 4th – 8th grade can attend practices and compete at meets. Homeschool students in high school may attend practices with approval from the athletic director. Please contact Heather Smith for approval, hrktrack@gmail.com. 

Season Length: 

March 13 – May 22

Practices:

Mostly Mondays and Thursdays from 5:30 – 7 pm in Lake Villa or Gurnee

Events Offered:

• Running – 100 m, 200 m, 400 m, 800 m, 1600 m 

• Relays – 4x100 m, 4x200 m

• Field – long jump, high jump, softball throw (4th-6th), shotput (7th+)

Meets:

4/12, 4/26, 5/3, and one TBD

Uniform:

Must purchase a black HRK team t-shirt when registering (if you don’t have one from a previous season) + fully black shorts on your own.

Parent Participation:

One parent from each family must volunteer at a minimum of one practice or one meet.

Cost:

$80 + uniform, if needed ($15).
